The Essentials - Building Trust in the Relationship

Relationship advices are always a best seller. People have this insatiable need on how to make their relationship stronger and better. Nothing can affect a person more than having a relationship problem. So they try their best to have open communications and compromises but no matter how you try to work things out in your relationship it will never work if you don't have trust in it or in your partner. Building trust needless to say but I'm going to say it anyway is very important. It is essential if you want to start a new relationship and to keep in stronger.
It's very powerful. It can let your guard down, it can unconditionally open your heart or your bank account, it can make you move mountains, it tolerates you to have blind loyalty, it never makes you think twice, it can make you do things you never thought possible. That is why if trust is destroyed or is betrayed it can be quite a big deal, not just in romantic involvement but in family, friends and business wise. When it is gone your reputation goes with it. Creating a positive impression can be very hard if people don't trust you. They will always question your sincerity and ulterior motives.
Some people will act very civil in front of you but will always keep a comfortable distance. Some however will never think twice of showing their disapproving notion, they will bravely frown and scorn at you. Even the wisest philosopher would tell you that above all else guard your reputation because it can make or break you and if you lose it you might never get it back. Having a good reputation is all about having a winning trust from people around you. Here are some few helpful tips in building trust in your relationship. Be consistent, in relationship consistency is vital.
You can't say you will take care of her and always be there for her but after a few months you totally neglect her and makes her the least of your priority. In building trust, you have to put your money where your mouth is. Don't say it for the sake of saying it. You have to learn to make your word as your bond. You can't say you will be loyal and truthful to her but after few months she saw you dating other women. In romantic involvement, having a credible integrity is significant because your partner's only way of trusting you is through your words, unlike in work where they have references and just base you on that but in relationship, when you say it's the past and you're a different person now, your partner will hang on to that irregardless of your hazy past.
When you cannot stand up to your words you cannot expect your union to flourish or progress. Having a healthy communication will be impossible to achieve. Your partner will never listen to you if your words are as good as writings on the sand. Building trust is all about conviction and commitment, being honest and true. Never promise the heavens if you cannot even give her a flower. What I mean is in building trust- be real. Nothing more, nothing less.
